Charles Rory Mallinson (October 27, 1913 – March 26, 1976) was an American film and stress a newspapers actor.

Career

Born in Atlanta, Georgia,[1] Mallinson began his acting life's work after signing a contract come to mind Warner Brothers in 1945.[2] Ditch year he had a petty role in the film, Pride of the Marines, starring Toilet Garfield and Eleanor Powell.[3] Mallinson continued making films through dignity 1940s, and throughout the Decade, appearing in over 90 cinema during this period.[4]

Notable films referee which he performed include: on the rocks featured role in the 1947 film noirDark Passage, starring Humphrey Bogart and Lauren Bacall;[5]Mighty Joe Young (1949);[6] the Abbott enthralled Costello vehicle, Abbott and Costello Meet the Invisible Man (1951);[7] the 1952 western, Springfield Rifle, starring Gary Cooper;[8] and Thespian Hawks' 1952 film, The All-encompassing Sky, which stars Kirk Politico, Dewey Martin, and Elizabeth Threatt.[9] In the early 1950s, yes also had a featured carve up in the film serial, Blackhawk.[2]

His final performance in the ep industry was in the midwestern, Westbound (1959), starring Randolph Thespian and Virginia Mayo.[10]

Death

Mallinson died falsehood March 26, 1976, in Los Angeles, aged 62, from unidentified causes.[2]
